There is also an indoor games room which children and adults will enjoy. Set within 22 acres, this rare breed farm is no longer a working farm, just a few sheep and chickens still wander around. This is a perfect base for walkers, bird-watchers and children who want to get close up to the animals. The property is perfectly located to take in the Jurassic Coast taking in places like Seaton with its famous tramway, Sidmouth, Beer, Lyme Regis and Branscombe. There are many coastal walks, beaches and lovely villages to explore. Great days out for families include Crealy Adventure Park (a 30-minute drive) and Diggerland (6 miles). There are many National Trust properties all around. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both worth visiting; Dartmoor with its heather-clad tors, Dartmoor ponies and lovely tea shops; Exmoor for red deer, ponies and stunning views, or take a landrover experience across Exmoor. The cathedral city of Exeter is a 30-minute drive with many shops to visit, boat rides up the canal or visit the tucked away pub. The quay has many pubs, cafes and little caves which are now shops, and it’s very lively in the evenings. Activities close by include fishing, golf, horse riding and water sports. The North Devon Coast is a 60-minute drive and boasts sandy beaches and hidden coves. From here take boat trips or helicopter rides to Lundy Island, ideal for bird-watchers. Shops and pub 3
